Choose the right access for each person

Owner.
Everything a member can do, plus inviting people, changing roles, renaming the household and managing the plan. Exactly one person is the owner.
Member.
Can read and change the record: add pets, upload documents, record doses and edit anything already on file. This is the role for a partner or another adult in the house.
Veterinarian.
Read access to the whole record, for a veterinarian you want looking at results.
Viewer.
Read-only access, for a sitter, a walker or a relative who only needs to look things up.

Bring a partner into the same record

Choose a role and the email address the person will use to sign in. An invitation lasts 14 days, works only for that address and can be revoked while it is pending.

Every invitation also gives you a code to pass on yourself, so the person can join however you reach them.

Keep the record together when responsibilities change

If another member takes over managing the household, transfer ownership to them without starting a new record. There is one owner at a time. After the transfer, only the new owner can hand it back.

You can also create and switch between separate households, each with its own pets, records and people.

Share a few records instead of the whole household

For a sitter, kennel or clinic that only needs part of the record, use a share link instead. Choose the content and how long the link lasts, without giving that person household membership.
